Brett served on the Dane County Board for 14 years and chaired the powerful Dane County Personnel and Finance Committee during the 2008 depression.
Energy Conservation Advocacy
Raised a Republican, Brett served as an Energy Conservation Advocate in the Carter Administration, teaching energy and money-saving techniques to Natives in rural Alaska during the 1970s Energy Crisis.
